Sri Lanka Air Force Receives Australian Surveillance Aircraft

The Australian Government has gifted a Beechcraft King Air 350 surveillance aircraft to the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) at no cost.

This acquisition will enhance SLAF's capabilities in aerial maritime surveillance and reconnaissance, supporting Sri Lanka's efforts to maintain security in the Indian Ocean region.

This reinforcing two countries joint commitment to combat human smuggling and promote regional stability, according to SLAF officials.
