Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya held her first meeting with key defense officials at the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday.

Attendees included Chief of Defense Staff Shavendra Silva, Army Commander Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, and Navy Commander Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera.
The meeting focused on current defense strategies and national security priorities following the Prime Minister's recent appointment.
