Election Commission Receives Over 1,200 Complaints Ahead of Presidential Election

As of yesterday, the Election Commission has recorded 1,229 complaints related to the upcoming presidential election. 

Of these, 1,172 are focused on violations of election laws. Additionally, the commission has received four complaints concerning acts of violence.
Manjula Gajanayake, Executive Director of the Institute for Democratic Reforms and Election Studies, has reported multiple incidents of assault occurring during election rallies.
