President Ranil Wickremesinghe will launch his presidential election manifesto at a special ceremony in Colombo today. Wickremesinghe, who is running as an independent candidate, has invited MPs from the ruling party and his supporters to attend the event.

Simultaneously, Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and its presidential candidate, will also unveil his party's manifesto. According to MP Lakshman Kiriella, Premadasa plans to present the manifesto first to the Venerable Mahanayake Theros before its public release.
