New Passport Issuance System Implemented

Starting today, the Department of Immigration and Emigration has suspended the advance booking system for passport issuance. Minister of Public Security, Tiran Alles, said that passports will now be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. This change is expected to accommodate 750 passport applications daily.

The decision comes in response to the significant public inconvenience caused by the previous booking system, which led to large crowds at the Immigration Department.
