The Ministry of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development has issued a Gazette notification regarding the revision of water tariffs, effective August 21, 2024. Following a Cabinet of Ministers' decision on August 13, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) will implement reduced tariffs.

Domestic users will see a 7% reduction, government hospitals will benefit from a 4.5% decrease, and schools and religious institutions will experience a 6.3% reduction.
