Anura Kumara Dissanayake, leader of the National People's Power (NPP), officially signed his nomination papers today for the upcoming presidential election. The ceremony was held at the Janatha Vimukti Peramuna (JVP) head office, with key members of the NPP's National Executive Body in attendance, including Dr. Nihal Abeysinghe, General Secretary of the NPP, and Tilvin Silva, General Secretary of the JVP.

"The National People's Power is ready to accept the challenge of rescuing our people and our country from this crisis. We believe that today's signature will ultimately lead to a victory for the people," AKD stated.
