Minister Ali Sabry has been appointed as the new Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs, and Constitutional Reforms. He was sworn in today before President Ranil Wickremesinghe. This new role adds to Sabry's existing responsibilities as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The position became vacant following the resignation of former Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, who stepped down to contest in the upcoming Presidential Election.
