State Minister of Finance, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, said that the projected expenditure for the upcoming presidential election has not yet exceeded Rs. 10 billion.

The minister's statement comes in response to growing public concerns about the financial burden of the election. Despite the increasing number of presidential candidates, Minister Siyambalapitiya assured that the budget remains manageable and under control.
