The Ministry of Public Security announced plans to strengthen security for presidential candidates following the acceptance of nominations.
Intelligence reports will be reviewed to assess potential threats, allowing the Ministry to tailor security measures for each candidate.
The police special task force will be deployed as necessary, with a special security program commencing this Thursday. Additionally, the cabinet has appointed a special committee to oversee the security of both presidential candidates and former presidents.
