The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 12-hour water cut scheduled for Sunday, August 11. 

The water supply will be suspended from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM in various areas, including Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake, and Seeduwa Urban Council regions. Additionally, parts of Kelaniya, Wattala, Biyagama, Maharagama, Dompe, Katana, Minuwangoda, and Gampaha pradeshiya sabha areas will also be affected.

The NWSDB explained that the disruption is due to essential maintenance work by the Electricity Board, which will require the suspension of power to the Biyagama Water Treatment Plant.
