Bribery Commission Issues Warning on Misuse of State Property

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has issued a  warning regarding the misuse of government property. The commission requested people holding official positions to return any government property, both movable and immovable, that they continue to use unlawfully after leaving their posts.

CIABOC's directive, which has been communicated to Ministry Secretaries, Provincial Chief Secretaries, and other government officials, comes in response to a surge in complaints about such misconduct. The commission highlighted that failure to comply with this order is a violation of the Anti-Corruption Act and will result in legal action.
