The All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC), led by MP Rishad Bathiudeen, will declare its support for a presidential candidate on August 14.

MP Bathiudeen said that this decision follows extensive discussions within the party's High Command. Currently aligned with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), the ACMC is considering whether to continue its support for the SJB or to back the current President.

"We will continue to attend SJB meetings," Bathiudeen said, highlighting that there have been requests from both sides for the ACMC's support.
