Six Indians have been arrested by the Katunayake Police for staying in Sri Lanka without valid visa documents. The arrests were made during a search operation in the Andiambalama area of Katunayake yesterday afternoon, following a tip-off about suspicious foreigners in the region.

The individuals, aged between 25 and 42, were found without proper documentation.

One of the arrested individuals was discovered with 1,000 sticks of illegally imported cigarettes, amounting to 50 packs.
