National Poson Week kicks off today, continuing through June 24. Anuradhapura District Secretary Janaka Jayasundara announced that nearly 1 million devotees are expected to visit the sacred city for the Poson festivities. Assurances have been made regarding the provision of necessary facilities for the pilgrims.
