Today, 1,524 land deeds were distributed to residents of Walawa under the "Urumaya" freehold land deeds program. The event was presided over by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

This is initiative of providing 2 million freehold land deeds across the country and  securing land ownership to citizens.
