President Ranil Wickremesinghe has inaugurated “The Mall,” a new duty-free shopping complex at Colombo Port City. This marks the first urban duty-free mall in the region, featuring a diverse selection of stores, restaurants, and retail outlets.

Prominent international duty-free retailers, including One World, China Duty Free Group (CDFG), and Flemingo, will operate within the mall, enhancing Colombo Port City's status as a top shopping destination.

Following the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, President Wickremesinghe toured the complex. The Port City project is also seeing significant investment, with around 100 companies focusing on the area and 74 expected to begin operations by year-end.
