Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has issued a  warning, claiming that any delay in the upcoming elections would mark the end of the United National Party (UNP). Rajapaksa expressed his disbelief over the potential postponement, labeling such a move as "silly" and forecasting severe repercussions for the UNP.
