Foreign Minister Ali Sabry is set to depart for Russia to attend the BRICS Ministerial Session in Nizhniy Novgorod on June 11, 2024. Invited by the Russian Foreign Minister, Sabry will represent the IORA Council of Ministers, where he currently serves as Chair.

The session, themed "Strengthening Multilateralism for Fair Global Development and Security," will focus on the roles of BRICS and the Global South in reforming global governance, ensuring sustainable development, and enhancing global security. Sabry is scheduled to deliver a statement on these issues.
