Maldives Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer, commenced an official visit to Sri Lanka on June 3, 2024, at the invitation of Sri Lankan Foreign Minister M.U.M. Ali Sabry. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

During his stay, Minister Zameer will hold discussions with President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena. He will also engage in bilateral talks with his Sri Lankan counterpart, Ali Sabry, focusing on enhancing cooperation and providing better facilities for Maldivians residing in Sri Lanka.

Minister Zameer is accompanied by Sheryna Abdul Samad, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Shiruzimath Sameer, Additional Secretary, and Aishath Fareena, Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The visit will conclude on June 6, 2024.
