A 37-year-old man was found dead inside a liquor store in Bibila yesterday morning. The victim, identified as a resident of Hali-Ela, Bogahamadiththa, owned the store. Preliminary investigations by Bibila Police suggest that an altercation with an employee escalated, leading to the employee attacking the store owner with an iron rod.

The 34-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder.
