Six Thai women who were arrested at Juliana hotel in Kollupitiya for alledgely engaging in prostitution at the hotel which was run as a brothel under the guise of a Spa were released on bail today. 

However, fourth Thai woman who stayed in the country with an expired visa was ordered to be deported by magistrate Thilina Gamage. Defence counsel charged that police were reluctant to carry out raids targeting five stars hotels over same charges but rather limiting their activities for small places.

The magistrate asked counsel that  details pertaining to those five stars be provided and he be made suitable orders.

Six thai women and two lankans were released on a cash bail of Rs.10,000 and two sureties of one million.
