The President’s Fund is set to distribute scholarships to 6,000 economically disadvantaged students who excelled in the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination of 2022/2023.
The President’s Media Division (PMD) confirmed that pending installments from March and April 2024 will be included in the May disbursement.

According to the PMD statement, recipients will receive 24 monthly installments of Rs. 6,000 each, beginning March 2024. The list of selected students will be made available on the official website (www.presidentsfund.gov.lk) and the President’s Fund Facebook page (www.facebook.com/president.fund).

Furthermore, the application window for the presidential scholarship program, aiding 100,000 economically challenged students from grade 1 to grade 11, has closed. The President’s Fund anticipates receiving the list of scholarship recipients at the regional level next month.Upon receipt of the lists, eligible students will start receiving 12 monthly installments of Rs. 3,000 each, commencing May 2024, as outlined by the PMD.
