Indunil Yapa Abeywardena, the Speaker's Media Secretary, disclosed to Daily Mirror that this revelation, along with other recent developments, will be unveiled in a special statement in Parliament following the no-confidence vote.
The Speaker's office spokesperson noted that Abeywardena's decision to issue this statement stems from his inability to engage in the debate in accordance with parliamentary standing orders.
