Two suspects have been apprehended following the shooting incident that claimed two lives in the Guruwala area of the Pitigala police division. The arrests were made yesterday (16) in the Talgaswala locality. Law enforcement officials stated that one suspect allegedly involved in planning the crime and another who aided and abetted it are now in custody. Both individuals, aged 35 and residents of Talgaswala, are under investigation.Furthermore, authorities have seized three mobile phones and two motorcycles believed to have been used during the incident.

The shooting, which occurred on March 11, involved two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle who opened fire with a T-56 firearm near a shop in the Guruwala Junction, resulting in two fatalities and leaving two others critically wounded.
