The Meteorology Department has predicted the possibility of showers in select areas of the country.

According to their forecast, showers are anticipated in the Southern province, as well as in Ratnapura and Kalutara districts during the evening or night hours. Meanwhile, predominantly dry weather is expected to prevail in other regions of the island.

Additionally, misty conditions may occur in certain areas of the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, along with Galle and Matara districts, during the morning.
