In a move that comes as a relief to consumers, the government has opted not to revise fuel prices for the month of March.
The anticipated adjustments, typically announced as per the monthly pricing formula, were expected to be disclosed on February 29.
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) has announced its decision to maintain current fuel rates throughout March. Additionally, there have been no statements from Lanka IOC and Sinopec regarding any revisions in fuel prices for the upcoming month.
Meanwhile, Litri Gas also stated that there would be no price revision for the month of March.
