The Maduragoda Police have launched an inquiry into a concerning incident involving four primary school students from the Ibbagamuwa region who fell unconscious, indicating a potential connection to the ingestion of an unidentified type of pill.

Reports reveal that the intoxicated students were swiftly transported to Rambadagalla Hospital following the incident, before being transferred to Kurunegala Teaching Hospital for further medical attention.
Local authorities disclosed that one of the students exhibited severe intoxication, necessitating immediate medical intervention.

Sources within the hospital expressed worries over the sudden loss of consciousness among the students, raising suspicions of possible drug ingestion.
