Litro Gas Lanka has announced its decision to maintain the prices of domestic LP gas cylinders unchanged for the month of February. The decision, revealed by Litro Chairman Muditha Peiris during a special media briefing held this morning, comes as a respite for households amid escalating global energy costs.
Chairman Peiris elaborated on the company's rationale behind the decision, emphasizing their commitment to easing the burden on the public amidst prevailing economic difficulties. Despite the customary practice of adjusting domestic gas prices to reflect changes in the international market, Litro Gas Lanka opted to absorb a significant portion of the financial impact by refraining from implementing a price hike.
