In preparation for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, authorities have announced the temporary closure of sections of Galle Road in Colombo.

The closure will affect the stretch from Kollupitiya junction to Galle Face and from Ceramic Junction to Galle Face during specific timeframes from January 29 to February 4.

Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and expect delays during the closure periods.
