Sports Minister Harin Fernando held a crucial meeting with Geoff Allardice, the Chief Executive Officer of the International Cricket Council (ICC), accompanied by the President and other representatives of the Sri Lankan Cricket Board.

The minister emphasized the significance of enhancing collaboration and addressing specific areas of mutual interest to lift the ban imposed by the ICC.

During the meeting, various important topics were discussed, including development programs, strategic initiatives, and other matters relevant to the global cricket landscape.

As a result of these discussions, a follow-up meeting with the President has been scheduled for this evening to further deliberate on key matters concerning Sri Lankan cricket.
