President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed Member of Parliament Vadivel Suresh, formerly in the opposition, as the Co-Chairman of the Divisional Coordination Committees for the Passara and Lunugala Divisional Secretariat Divisions in the Badulla District.

This appointment positions Suresh to play a key role in monitoring and overseeing all development activities implemented by the Government in these regions.
