The All Ceylon Egg Producers' Association says that it will visit Colombo today (22) intending to meet government officials regarding the gazette announcement issued thereby setting a maximum retail price for eggs.

Accordingly, its Chairman R.M Sarath Ratnayake said that an appointment has been requested from the Prime Minister and the Minister of Trade.

The All Ceylon Egg Producers Association further stated that if they receive no relief in this regard, they will be forced to take legal action against the government.
