Upul Rohana, President of the Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors' Association, says that the country could another lockdown soon if the public disregards health guidelines during the long weekend.

Rohana said many people seem to have travelled to popular holiday destinations for the long weekend. \\

Hesaid that those who go on excursions in this manner should understand that they are facing a dangerous situation.

Health Services Director General Dr. Asela Gunawardena said there was a risk of new COVID19 clusters in 05 districts.
