Former Chairman of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd Anil Koswatte has sent a letter to the government requesting an independent inquiry into the recent allegations made by the current chairman of the company.

Addressing a press conference, Litro Gas Lanka Theshara Jayasinghe said the gas industry in Sri Lanka was operated by a mafia that was making massive profits.

The letter dated 6th November 2021 was addressed to the Secretary to the Treasury and to the Minister of Finance.
