A three-judge bench of the High Court has summoned former Director of the State Intelligence Service Nilantha Jayawardena to appear in court on the 22nd to give evidence in the case against the former IGP and the former Defense Secretary in the Easter Sunday case.

Former Chief of State Intelligence, Senior DIG Nilantha Jayawardena has been summoned to appear before a three-judge bench of the High Court on the 22nd scheduled to hear cases against former IGP Pujitha Jayasundara and former Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando who have been served indictments.

The High Court has accepted the request made by Senior Deputy Solicitor General Dileep Peiris representing the Attorney General in the case and summoned former intelligence chief Jayawardena before the three-judge bench to give evidence.
