SJB MPs Hesha Vithanage and Chaminda Wijesiri have resigned from their electoral organiser posts and other responsibilities in the party.

Vithanage has resigned from his electoral organiser post in Rakwana while Wijesiri has resigned from his post in Badulla.

Wijesiri, while addressing a recent press conference, criticised Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa's style of leadership.

They have reportedly informed the General Secretary of the party Ranjith Madduma Bandara in writing regarding this.

However, Madduma Bandara told the media yesterday that he had not received any such notice thus far.
