Sri Lanka authorities will begin to administerthe Pfizer vaccine to students aged between 18 and 19 at their respective schools throughout the country from today.
Inoculation of students between the ages of 18 and 19 in the Colombo District was successfully carried out as a pilot project from October 15, President of the Sri Lanka College of Paediatrician Dr.Shaman Rajindrajith told media.
Starting today, the project will be extended to all other districts.
Parents have bee requested to get their children vaccinated at their respective schools or at MOH offices as soon as possible.
