SJB Lodges Separate Complaint With Bribery Commission Calling For Investigation Into Nirupama Rajapaksa and Nadesan

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) parliamentarians lodged a complaint with the Bribery Commission today calling for an investigation into former Deputy Minister Nirupama Rajapaksa and her husband Thiru Nadesan.

However, President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has already ordered the Bribery Commission to conduct an inquiry into the revelations made in Pandora Papers and to provide him with a report in a month.

The Commission has already issued summons on Nadesan to appear before the investigators.

The SJB's complaint was signed by 18 parliamentarians.

Members of Parliament Ashok Abeysinghe, Harshana Rajakaruna, Mujibur Rahuman, J. Mr. C. Alawathuwala, Mr. Hector Appuhamy and others were present at the Bribery Commission today to hand over the complaint.
