The Ministry of Tourism is likley to appoint singer Yohani de Silva as a brand ambassador for the promotion of the Sri Lankan tourism industry.

Singer Yohani de Silva has agreed to support the Sri Lankan tourism industry a brand ambassador, a senior official at the Ministry of Tourism has told the media.

As a brand ambassador for the promotion of Sri Lanka's tourism industry, she will be unveiling 'Sri Lanka Travel Song' on January 03, representing Sri Lanka at the Global Tourism Festival, a component of the inaugural 'Expo 2020' in Dubai.

The Ministry of Tourism also states that a cultural show featuring Yohani will be held at the Dubai Expo as part of the Sri Lanka National Day celebrations.
