The Ceylon Principals 'Association states that on the 6th of this month, which is World Teachers' Day, principals all over the country are protesting by raising black flags in front of their private homes.
There are about 11,200 graded principals in the country and they will join the protest, said the Secretary of the Ceylon Principals' Association, Piyasiri Fernando.
Fernando says that the protest will be launched demanding a solution to the salary issue of teachers and principals.
Teachers protests broke out across the country demanding solutions to their long-standing professional grievances just days before the last lockdown one and a half months ao.
Teachers have stated that they were not statisfied with the government's action to address their grievances.
