Kotikawatta Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Rangajeewa Jayasinghe died last afternoon (28) due to COVID19 while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.

He had been receiving treatment at the IDH Intensive Care Unit of the IDH Hospital for nearly a month and was transferred to the Colombo National Hospital last week while in a coma, a hospital spokesman said.

Accordingly, the Chairman who was receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Colombo National Hospital for nearly two weeks died this afternoon (28).

Rangajeewa Jayasinghe was appointed as the Chairman of the Kotikawatta Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha in the year 2018.
