Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and his entourage arrived in Sri Lanka this morning after attending the G-20 Interfaith Conference in Italy.
The Prime Minister and his delegation left the Katunayake Airport on September 10 for their visit to Italy.
The visit came under severe criticism from many quarters on the grounds that the event was an relatively "insignificant event".
The Prime Minister's delegation included former First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa. his Secretary Gamini Senarath and his Chief of Staff Yoshitha Rajapaksa.
