Minister Chamal Rajapaksa has been infected with COVID19, sources close to him said.

The Minister has been admitted to a private hospital in Colombo.

Sources familiar with the matter said Rajapaksa's condition remains stable at the moment.

A number of Parliamentarians got infected with the virus during the current wave.

Among them were Ministers Mahindananda Aluthgamage and Bandula Gunawardena.
