George Master’ — Velupillai Kumaru Pancharatnam, translator to LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran, died from a heart attack in Kilinochchi yesterday.

He was 85 at the time of his death.

George Master drew the attention of Sri Lankan media during the peace process between 2001-2004.

He led a quite life after the defeat of the LTTE.
