Former Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana released a "hospital selfie" yesterday to inform the pubic and he is in stable condisition.

Rohana was tested positive for COVID19 andis currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Colombo.

A photograph of a critical COVID19 patient went viral yesterday and many attributed this to the former Police Media Spokesman.

However, the Police Media Division issued a statement last evening asserting that the person appearing in the photograph was not DIG Rohana.

Simultaneoulsy. Rohana too released a selfie from the hospital. Health sources said Rohana's condition was not serious.
