Long queues have been reported near fuel stations across the country due to rumours of a lockdown.

Multiple sources said people were panic buying despite assurances that suel stations will remain open during a lockdown.

Long queues were also reported in supermarkets as people were stocking up on food items fearing a lockdown announcement.

However, no final decision has so far been made with regard to new restrictions.
