Former Minister Mangala Samaraweera's health condition is improving, informed health sources said.

Samaraweera was infected with COVID19 and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Colombo.

He is treated at the ICU as he developed COVID19-related pneumonia.

However, multiple health sources confirmed that Samaraweera's condition had seen an improvement today.

He was diagnosed with COVID19 just days after he launched a new political platform for the youth.
