A well-known journalist attached to a Sinhala newspaper, who was diagnosed with COVID19, had espaced from the Kalubowila hospital yesterday.

The hospital informed the police with regard to the escape and the police launched an operation to trace the journalist.

He was later found at his persoal residence near Thalangama.

The Thalangama police surrounded the house and apprehended the journalist. He was later handed over to the hospital.
