Former MP Ranjan Ramanayaka has tested positive for COVID19.

The MP, who was held at the Angunakolapella prison, has been trasferred to a treatment centre.

He recently attended a funeral of one of his close relatives and interacted with some people who were present at the funeral.

Among them was MP Harin Fernando who has now placed himself under self-isolation.
